📯 Information from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine regarding grants for students admitted in 2024 Payments under extended grants in the 2025/2026 academic year for 2nd-year students: • In accordance with the Procedure for the implementation of the experimental project on providing state grants for obtaining higher education, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated July 18, 2024, No. 822, students who received a state grant for the 2024/25 academic year may extend it for the 2025/26 academic year, taking into account any changes in tuition fees established by the higher education institution for the respective educational program, as specified in the agreement between the institution and the individual ordering the paid educational service. • The extension of the state grant will take place in the same manner as its confirmation procedure via the Diia mobile application, which students completed in 2024. • Due to the need to finalize the development of the Unified State Electronic Education Database (EDEBO), the deadlines for generating electronic certificates for the continuation of state grants for second-year students have been postponed. Additional information regarding the specific timeframes for the Ministry of Education and Science to send certificates for student confirmation will be provided later. • The first payment of state grants to second-year students will be made by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine by the end of 2025. 💭 ДНВР @dnvr_31. uropean Defense Tech Hackathon in Kyiv from November 6 to 9, 2025

The companies European Defense Tech Hub, Moodro, and Snake Island Institute plan to hold the European Defense Tech Hackathon in Kyiv from November 6 to 9, 2025. The goal of the event is to foster innovative technologies in the defense sector, bringing together students, professionals, and startups to collaborate on solutions related to counter-drone systems and other advanced defense technologies. In addition to the 48-hour hackathon, the event will feature a variety of lectures, workshops, and project presentations. The challenges for the teams are developed by Ukrainian military representatives, as well as the Ukrainian company and co-organizer Moodro, and the event partner Nordic Air Defense. Two more teams of third-year students from the Department of Applied Mathematics and Informatics stood out at the NASA International Space Apps Challenge hackathon!

Two more teams of third-year students from the Department of Applied Mathematics and Informatics stood out at the NASA International Space Apps Challenge hackathon: Team CCKJAV+: Sofiia Buriak, Kira Buzova, Anastasiia Haltsova, Anna Sak, and Sofiia Semeriaha with their project Exoplanet Classifier, which ranked 10th among all teams (and 5th in Ukraine in the Data Science category); Team DOE4230: Kyrylo Medar, Marharyta Oliinykova, Diana Makaryan, and Nikita Akav, which ranked 13th among all teams.
