Academic mobility is an integral part of the educational process at the Faculty of Software Systems and Applied Mathematics. Each year, our students participate in academic exchange programs, double degree programs, and short-term international educational events. These experiences contribute to professional growth, the development of intercultural skills, and enhance the competitiveness of our graduates in the global job market.
Our students actively participate in short-term mobility activities. For instance, in recent years, female students of the faculty have represented KPI annually at the Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit — the largest conference in Europe for women in STEM and IT.
The Faculty of Applied Mathematics, specifically the Department of Applied Mathematics, is a member of the European Consortium for Mathematics in Industry (ECMI). As part of this membership, students regularly participate in ECMI Modelling Weeks, where they work in international teams to solve real-world problems from business and industry.
