We sincerely congratulate the 3rd-year students of the Department of Applied Mathematics —
Mykyta Barkalov, Mykola Bovan, and Bohdan Tkach from KM-31, as well as Illia Palienko from KM-33.

Their team took 27th place out of 1,282 participants and received a silver medal in the prestigious competition “Make Data Count – Finding Data References” on the Kaggle platform (https://www.kaggle.com/competitions/make-data-count-finding-data-references/).

The aim of this competition was to build a model to be used for automating the addition of high-quality, contextualized links between datasets and scientific articles to the MDC data citation corpus (https://makedatacount.org/).

❤️ We are proud of you and wish you continued success!
